Stewards of Change

The client was hired by DHHS of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to create a roadmap that included an integrated business process and technology framework and also provided the state of Pennsylvania with a replicable model. In collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania Field Center, Microsoft Corporation and Motorola Corporation to produce this a detailed conceptual and technical architecture to create interoperable, real-time technology systems. An additional mobile pilot program was initiated to enable caseworkers and supervisors access to key information/data systems.

  • Step 1: Get to the know the team and create a team profile.
  • Step 2: Conduct an assessment of the political landscape of team and client.
  • Step 3: Assess the current workflow and documentation process of each team.
  • Step 4: Engage client and work collaboratively to create priorities and calendar
  • Step 5: Create a project plan (milestones, critical paths, tasks, dependencies, meetings, resolution plan).
  • Step 6: Engage in each phase, work sessions, review all documents and work submissions.
  • Step 7: Manage and contribute to final delivery.
  • Step 8: Debrief and document business model.
